Add-ons Changelog for the January 2019 Part 2

Hi, This is Alexey from Simtech Development. Let’s see what news we have about our add-ons in the second part of January 2019.

News

Full-Page Cache by Varnish 5+ appeared to be the most popular of our add-ons. Considering this we’d like to advise you about the main conditions for using the add-on one more time.
This add-on is not similar to other add-ons because it affects the whole ecosystem of a store including the server part. That will not be enough to install and activate Varnish in the CS-Cart admin panel. Technical skills are required to configure the settings correctly. We will provide you with it.

The price of the add-on includes:

Estimation of the add-on applicability;
Add-on installation;
Environment set-up;
Code and server analysis;
Recommendations for code optimization before installing and enabling the add-on.

Please also note!

The add-on is worth considering in case:

Your e-store is not under development. It is up and running. And your goal is to improve it.
You’ve got an exact development copy of your e-store for testing.

The add-on will NOT fit you if:

The e-store has not been yet released.
You consider the add-on as a cure-all solution.

SEO Templates

[ ~ ] The ability to migrate the “Generate SEO name for new product only in primary language” setting has been added.
[!] If the name of the product image contained more than 255 characters, such an image got erased. The image rename and name length check have been added.
[!] The “Failed to upload the image” notification has been adjusted.

Affiliate and Referral

[~] The ability to migrate the “Show customer to vendor” setting has been added.
[ ~ ] The logic of tracking visitors clicks and banner views has been changed. Now the following parameters control the uniqueness of the click: banner ID, partner ID, client IP, unique click time, banner view time (the “Set time for unique click and banner view” setting is configured in the add-on parameters, set to 10 by default . If set to 0, all clicks and banner views will be tracked.

[!] The appearance of the social media button on the “Edit profile” page did not change. Fixed.
[!] The add-on did not change the appearance of social media buttons. Fixed.

IP Geolocation by MaxMind

[+] The license and the update option via the upgrade center have been added.
[!] There was no ability to change the city when the add-on block was placed in the page header. Fixed.

Real-Time Messenger

[+] The license and the update option via the upgrade center have been added.
[!] The vendor administrator could not see the customers who have sent them a message but have not bought anything yet. Fixed.

Vendor Ratings

[!] Error due to the non-existing function in 4.5.х-4.8.х versions. Fixed.

Facebook Pixel

[!] The event of adding a product with variations to the shopping cart was not tracked. Fixed.

Product Bundles

[!] The add-on had the same hook names as in the standard functionality which caused incorrect display of product bundle page in grid view mode. Fixed.
Google Analytics Enhanced eCommerce
[!] The add-on was incompatible with One Page Checkout. Fixed.

XML & CSV Import

[!] The process of importing files in the queue via cron has been improved. First import in the queue blocked the subsequent. Fixed.
