Add-Ons Changelog for the First Part of June 2021

Updated to be compliant

Generation Z-CS, Airy mobile, and Vanilla themes

The themes were adapted to CS-Cart 4.13.1, the latest version of CS-Cart and now are fully compliant with it.

QuickBooks Online Integration

We added two new columns to the QuickBooks Online Integration. They were absent in the previous versions. After adapting the QuickBooks Online Integration for the default Vendor Privileges add-on, these new columns caused a conflict between the add-ons. We made the required changes and QuickBooks Online Integration is now fully compliant with the Vendor Privileges add-on in CS-Cart and Multi-Vendor 4.9.x.

MailChimp Ecommerce

As part of adaptation to CS-Cart 4.13.1, we fixed a redirect to a 404 error when connecting or disconnecting a store in the add-on settings. The conflict occurred after changing the settings. When the page was reloaded, the redirect led to a 404 page. Now, the add-on redirects back to the settings of adding a store.

IP Geolocation by MaxMind

A deviation in the add-on behavior occurred when a third-party theme was installed. We studied the issue and improved the add-on to remove any misbehaviour. As a result, now there is no duplication of the header in the modal windows when a third-party theme is installed. The button in the Select City box does not display if it is empty. When the Unitheme2 is installed, a dialogue window comes up to confirm the customer location.

Product Labels

We noticed that there is a conflict between the add-ons Vendor Common Products and Product Labels. The Vendor Common Products added its label on the common products, and the Product Labels rewrote this label. As a result, the discount label did not display right. Instead of “Save up to %”, “Save %” came up. We adapted Product Labels to the Common Products for Vendors. Now, labels are displayed correctly. 

Better appearance

Before, all product thumbnails were displayed as part of the main image gallery. We made changes in the Grid template. Now, thumbnails on the detail page and the gallery of product images do not conflict, and the previews appear in the main gallery.

Improved functionality

Generation Z-CS

Previously, blocks with the Clean Priсe did not display. We introduced the required changes. Now, Settings: Appearance → Display prices with taxes allow showing of Clean prices on category/product pages if the method of calculating taxes is based on a unit’s price.

XML & CSV Import Pro

After upgrading the add-on, it was found out that there is no opportunity to access the add-on settings. We changed the cron field ID to remove any discrepancy in the add-on updating. 

Moreover, we updated the add-on to add support of importing the JSON files.

SEO Templates

We noticed that most store administrators create products by cloning them. To make it more comfortable for the add-on users, we added generation of SEO data while cloning a product. Now, product creation is much easier. You don’t have to copy and paste additional data. The required SEO information will be generated once products are cloned.

User Profile Page

We completely reworked the User Profile Page to make the image uploader work smoothly. Now, users can edit their profiles with a handy uploader. Loading of avatars is fast and neat.
