Better appearance

Urban Shift

We changed the image and the font size in the “Compact list” template. As the result, the images became larger, margins reduced, the font size fixed, the product code does not exceed the length of the product name. Everything looks great and really compact.

Airy

We styled the compact list to make the product title wrap. Now, even if your ‘Cool iPhone 12 case/Cool iPhone 12 Pro case, Soft Slim Flexible TPU Cover with Full HD+Graphics for iPhone 12/iPhone 12 Pro(6.1) (Basketball Shoes)’ does not fit the block, it won’t extend outside the screen, but will beautifully wrap the text onto another line at the block border.

Product Labels and Advanced Social Buttons

Both add-ons were adapted to Right-To-Left Languages. Now, all the margins within the blocks are justified properly.

Generation Z for CS-Cart shop

The Age Verification is a standard add-on introducing the age limit for certain product categories. If the user does not pass the age limit by age for a particular category, then this category is hidden from the list of categories.

The Generation Z theme introduced a new block – tor_subcategories_tree.tpl. It was found that this new block was not adapted for the age limit and even prohibited categories could appear to the user. Now, after updates were applied, the add-on is fully adapted to age verification. The block / tor_subcategories_tree.tpl hides categories for which the user does not pass the age limit.

QuickBooks Online Integration

Previously, the add-on was not available for vendors when the Vendor Privileges add-on was activated. Now, the add-on is adapted to the standard Vendor Privileges add-on. For correct display in the vendor mode, you need to select the “Full access” in the “Vendor” user group settings.

For the module to work correctly on versions CS-Cart and Multi-Vendor 4.11.1, a check of the version has been added, which allows processing a request to the database.

PHP version requirement reduced

PHP 7.0 code was checked for the need for restrictions. We found out that the tested add-ons run correctly with the older PHP versions. Although, we recommend upgrading to the latest protocols to protect against any vulnerability, we reduced the version limitation. Now, even if your PHP is not 7.0, we guarantee these add-ons will work the same.

Fixed for better performance

JSON-LD for SEO

The add-on adds structured data in the JSON LD format for more accurate analysis of the site content by Google. For stores of versions 4.11.4 and above, the markup is added by the standard SEO module. Our add-on extends the standard functionality by adding additional content using a special hook. For products, one of the markup elements is the product price – offers => [‘price’ => ’33’]. By default, the module adds a price with taxes. However, it did not work for products with variations. We updated the add-on. Now, all the markup data is considered and accurately crawled by search engines.

Generation Z-MV and Generation Z-CS

The theme is adapted to INFO type notifications displayed as modal windows. You can find this type of notifications when:

• Making an order as a guest with the mail, which already exists in the database;
• Add item to cart;
• Adding an item to the wish list;
• Adding a product to the comparison list
• Bulk adding products to the cart.

Follow Vendor 

Previously, there was no check if the product is active or not. Because of this, products with the disabled status were displayed. Now this check is added and the news feed displays only those news that are related to products whose status is active.

Product Likes

When switching to the My likes tab on behalf of an unregistered user, the error “404 error. Page not found” was displayed. To fix the error for the user in the guest status, a redirect was made to the authorization page.

We added the bulk email element to bulk_edit action list to improve the logic. Now, starting from CS-Cart version 4.12.2 and above, the orders tab no longer displays a gear with any actions. All actions have been moved to bulk-edit. This update makes managing bulk link sending more intuitive and handy.

Shipping Estimate

Previously, if IP Geolocation by MaxMind or Geolocation by Google (deprecated) was not installed, the Shipping Estimate did not define the user’s location despite the active Maps & Geo module (default CS-Cart add-on). To rectify this, additional processing of obtaining geodata has been added. Now, Shipping Estimate properly defines the user location without extra plugins. 

Cloud Translate by Google

Recently, we’ve gotten feedback from one of our customers. When he imported and translated his products automatically and then fixed the translation manually, after a new import, the translation was overridden. So, our team decided to add more hand tools to cover cases like this one. Before, the Cloud Translate by Google was triggered every time the product was saved. We added a checkbox to enable or disable translating products and other objects so that the administrator could choose it at his discretion.
