Add-Ons Changelog For The First Half Of June, 2022

New Handy Functions and Improvements 

Here we have updates made to improve the logic or functionality of existing add-ons.

Airy Mobile Theme

Previously, the button “Add to Cart” was displayed in the theme despite the selected settings to hide it: CS-Cart Settings > Checkout > Allow shopping for unlogged customers. We added some changes to make the button hide when the appropriate option is enabled.

Order Improvements

Before, emails with an invoice and an attachment for an order were not sent when statuses were assigned with the settings “Send invoice by email” and “Send attached files by email”. This misbehavior was caused by non compliance with the standard “PDF-Documents” add-on. We made changes. Now, the setting for sending an invoice with an order when its status changes works correctly.

Parallax Effect

UniTheme has a template that extends the standard grid rendering functionality. Parallax Effect has a similar option that also overrides the same template and expands this functionality in its own way. So, when the add-on is enabled in an online store, where the UnitTheme2 v 4.14.2 theme is used, the layout of the theme breaks. We adapted the add-on to the current version of the theme to remove the misbehavior.

Smart Mega Menu

Previously, the add-on offered an option to load svg icons, but the implementation did not take into account all the conditions. As a result, when somebody tried to import files without extension restrictions, the files were not loaded. For example, in the attachments tab of the product detail page in the admin panel. The problem has been fixed. We have tested the correct loading of files in the CS-Cart system with the Smart Mega Menu add-on installed. Now the files are loading without errors. Files are attached on the detailed product page in the Attachments tab. Icons are displayed correctly.

TaxCalcs by TaxJar

The add-on incorrectly counted taxes for products at a big discount, when multiple vendors were involved. We corrected the add-on logic for the correct calculation of taxes.
